1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Sorted, including its website, applications, integrations, and beta programme. By creating an account, accessing Sorted, or joining the beta, you agree to these terms. If you use Sorted for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Sorted is intended for business use. You must be legally able to enter into a contract and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure, limiting access to authorised people, and notifying us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
3. The Sorted service
Sorted provides tools for managing products, inventory, locations, stock movements, orders, picking, fulfilment, and related business workflows. The service may depend on third-party integrations and may change as it develops. A reference to a planned feature, roadmap item, or public product comment is not a promise that the feature will be delivered.
4. Beta programme and payment
The beta programme is an early version of Sorted made available for testing and feedback. A one-off payment of £10 is required for business verification and beta access. Unless expressly stated otherwise, this payment is not a recurring subscription. Beta access continues while the beta programme is available and may include experimental features, interruptions, errors, data limitations, or changes. Your decision to join must not depend on any future feature or functionality being delivered.
5. Acceptable use
You must use Sorted lawfully and responsibly. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, probe or bypass security controls, upload malicious code, infringe another person’s rights, reverse engineer the service, resell access without permission, or use Sorted to process data that you are not entitled to use.
6. Your data and content
You retain ownership of the business data, product information, inventory information, files, and other content you submit to Sorted. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise provide the service. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your data and for maintaining appropriate backups.
7. Integrations and third-party services
Sorted may connect with services such as commerce platforms, payment providers, storage providers, or other third-party tools. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party availability, changes, data policies, or actions outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for authorising integrations and checking that synchronised data is accurate.
8. Intellectual property
Sorted, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to the service provider. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Sorted for your business during the applicable access period. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
9. Feedback and custom ideas
The beta is designed around practical feedback from participating businesses. If you provide suggestions, ideas, feature requests, workflows, or other feedback, you allow us to evaluate, develop, use, and incorporate that feedback into Sorted without restriction or payment. This does not give us permission to publish your confidential business information or identify your business publicly without your permission.
10. Privacy and security
We process personal data and business information as described in the applicable privacy information made available through Sorted. You must avoid submitting information that is unnecessary for the service and must ensure that people whose personal data you submit have been informed where required by law. We use reasonable security measures, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Availability and disclaimers
Sorted is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis, particularly during beta. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or that every feature will be error-free. Sorted is an operational tool and does not replace your own stock checks, fulfilment controls, business judgement, or continuity procedures.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages, or for losses caused by third-party services, incorrect data, unauthorised account activity, or decisions made using the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, address a security risk, or where these terms are breached. You may stop using Sorted at any time. On termination, your right to access the service ends. Provisions concerning ownership, data responsibilities, feedback, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution will continue where their nature requires.
14. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms as Sorted develops. We will publish the updated version on this page and update the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. These terms and any separate written agreement for a specific service or organisation form the agreement between you and us; a separate written agreement prevails where it conflicts with these terms.
15. Contact
For questions about these terms or the Sorted beta programme, please use the Feedback page or the contact details provided through the Sorted service.
